Eggcellent Egg Hunt

Hi again! Today I went on the Faberge' Egg Hunt! This is a "egg-cellent" way of getting to know your city, and learn about stores, schools, and awesome artists! All of the money from the gift shops, located both at Saks Fifth Avenue and on the 2nd floor of the Time Warner Center, and the eggs will go to Art programs in NYC public schools (www.studioinaschool.org)  and to help protect the endangered Asian Elephants (www.elephantfamily.org)! There is an app for Google Play users and app store users that lets you scan, "collect" and "crack" each egg you visit. You can scan as many eggs as you'd like but only up to 5 eggs a day are eligible to be entered into a sweepstakes to collect the jeweled Fabrege' eggs. The value is nearly $50,000.00 for the grand prize.
My first stop was Magnolia Bakery on Columbus Avenue between 69th and 70th streets!

This egg is designed by Indira Cesarine and is called The Egg  Of  Light! This egg was to be found by Magnolia Bakery. This next egg was designed by Nathan Sawaya.
It's called the Sawaya Egg! This egg is made out of legos since Nathan Sawaya created this egg and is the creator of "The Art of the Brick"exhibit at Discovery Time Square. You should go and see it before it leaves again! Then we went upstairs to see the $45 small eggs, $1 postcards and some larger limited edition eggs that you should snatch up quickly as they are "selling like hotcakes" and may be gone soon.

I then discovered this egg at 700 Fifth Avenue, outside The Peninsula Hotel, by Marsha Meredith!
 The egg is on top of a car and shows the skyline of New York, even though at first glance it looks like a yolk. You might recognize this next egg at Rockefeller Center.
         Your right, It's Warby Parker's egg. This egg is a map for the best places to read downtown! (Scroll down for my earlier post on Warby Parker.) This next egg is by Ralph Lauren also at Rockefeller Center.
The egg is inspired by a cowboy. This egg is called Lauren Egg. There are more than 280 eggs throughout the City and will all be on display through April 17th. Then you can view the whole collection at the big finale at Rockefeller Center on April 18th through April 25th! If you want to win the sweepstakes, you better stop reading now and start searching since it ends on April 17th before the finale! Bye, Andrew.  Update 4/18  Finale photos;
Yep, I saw Waldo!  He "bumped" into me three times. Yes, he's next to a american flag egg!
I wonder which came first?
This is my favorite of all of the eggs
 This egg opens and closes!
This one may remind you of your childhood!
This makes me hungry!

Hint: some are inside 30 Rock (both floors) so do not forget if you do not see your favorite around the flags, ice rink, and plazas.  They also  sell smaller eggs with the same art that can be took  home, as mentioned before . You can find them in a pop up shop in the back of 30 Rock! Showed above #egg2 #egg9 #egg179 #egg171 #egg198 #egg114 #egg51
