A Good Hangout
Good afternoon readers. After lunch who doesn't love a good treat? Today I went to a favorite former "hangout" of my Mom's on the UES that was popular and was opened from 1997-2002. Any guesses? If you said DTUT your right! DTUT is now located on Second Avenue between 90th and 91st streets (formerly on 84th and Second Avenue) and reopened sometime in 2013.DTUT, now in a smaller but similarly decorated location, serves yummy s'mores, chocolate and cheese fondue, salads, soups, quiche and more! They also serve all kinds of beverages including coffee, tea and water. Some of the food they serve comes from other places you might have heard of. Some examples are; sandwiches from Eli's Bakery, pastries from Coison Pastrie, soup from Kettle Cuisine, and their coffee is from Irving Farm. If you want to invite kids or your family, they have board games to entertain you too!When my Mom used to go, they had bingo night.
