Hi readers! After enjoying a great mid-winter break, I decided to treat myself today. Some treats I enjoy are cupcakes, ice cream, frozen yogurt, and even Rice Krispy Treats! Today I had something different, macaroons! I stopped into Macaron Parlour's new UWS store located on Columbus Avenue between 87th and 88th Streets.
Macaron Parlour has 17 different kinds of macaroons in cool flavors like; Cheetos, party time (a salted milk chocolate macaroon), and the Elvis (a peanut butter banana macaroon).
There is even one flavor you can purchase that donates it's proceeds to Alex Lemonade Stand, a charity to help stop pediaritc cancer! You guessed it the lemon macaroon. There is also a blue bottle espresso machine, many pastries, and homemade dog treats for dogs everywhere, including the vets and animal hosptails next door!
Finally there is seating to relax in and eat.
