IRC New Roots Popup Shop, And Sur La Table

Hi again readers! Today I had lots of fun!  First I stopped inside a two day only pop-up shop called IRC New Roots!
Located in the Empire Hotel, the pop-up had Sujia juice, and chef David Burke's yummy food! Some things offered on the menu were quinoa and kale (it was delicious!!), reubens and cheesecake lollipops! The food was in to-go boxes and was free! Well, they asked you to tweet or Instagram about the pop-up in exchange for the treats.
More information is at  twitter.com/theIRC #newroots Next, I stopped in to Sur La Table  (it's French for "on the table")!  Located on 57 Street between 8th and 9th Avenues,
it has everything you need to cook!! It also has cooking classes for all ages!  Check it out in person or at www.surlatable.com! I picked up their popcorn & seasoning collection to go with my new CWonder air popper I bought this weekend! See you soon, Andrew

  2. Hi Andrew - How was the cheesecake pop? Also what is Sujia juice? Wish I'd have known about this terrific pop up since it's so close to where I live. Love it! Keep up the cool posts, Kathy

    1. I actually didn't have the cheesecake pop because they said "It will come during the after noon!" I Think Suja juice is a organic kind of "clense" juice. I think you can try the same meals at David Burke at Bloomingdale's to go with "Burke in a box"! Thanks for reading, Andrew!
