40 Carrots @ Bloomingdales' 7th floor

On Friday I went to forty carrots!!

Located on the 7th floor of Bloomingdales, forty carrots is many New Yorkers' best kept secret for their favorite Froyo, aka Frozen Yogurt. Forty carrots has a large selection of food on their menu too with choices including a fruit salad and froyo combo or one of their many salads (chopped, greek and Caesar among the choices), salmon. There is also a kids'section that includes my favorite, a pizza or spaghetti entree that comes with frozen yogurt! Some people come to forty carrots just for the frozen yogurt! Forty carrots has many "regulars", people who come daily for years just to get this yogurt! It is that good! We met someone on this trip that's being coming many times a week for 10 years! This is very common at forty carrots!!  They have a to-go area which is often filled and a choice of the counter or tables in their restaurant.

Now time for the yogurt! They have many flavors and toppings as well smoothies!!

Here's Friday's yogurt menu (see below). The plain is the most popular and my favorite.  It's sort of a tart vanilla but so good. Another popular order is the plain and chocolate twist. My brother's favorite flavor is the banana, which sometimes is available. Most customers order their yogurt in a cup. Many come and get the large as their whole meal and it's huge!!!

Now time to eat!! Today, I had the spaghetti and frozen yogurt.

Wow!! So good!! Now I'm soooo cold so a final warning before I go, bring a sweatshirt to forty carrots!! They keep it freezing there year round! A lady next to us was so cold that she asked for an apron from the waiters to wrap around her!! It was very funny. See you soon Andrew!
